In 1970 Chile elected Salvador Allende, a president committed to helping the workers.
But how could the government know what was happening in factories across the country?
The answer was Cybersyn, machines in the factories that sent information to the government.
It was an idea from the future.
But in 1973, a U.S.-backed coup killed Allende and the dream.
