In 1970, Chile elected Salvador Allende, a socialist who wanted to transform the country.
His government nationalised factories but needed a way to monitor them.
Cybersyn was the solution, a computer network sending real-time data from factories to the government.
In 1973, a U.S.-backed coup killed Allende and ended the dream.
